Mahir Qureshi

Mahir is the co–founder of QM Lawyers and a principal lawyer. He has a special interest in family and criminal law. He has extensive experience in personal injury, administrative law, civil disputes and litigation.

Mahir holds a Juris Doctor (Hons) from Bond University and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce from Monash University.

Mahir has appeared in various courts and tribunals in Victoria and interstate, representing clients at all stages of the legal process, including but not limited to trials and contested hearings.

Mahir has helped hundreds of clients achieve outstanding results. He provides clear, direct and strategic advice to clients ensuring they are well informed and prepared throughout their proceeding. His experience across all areas of family and criminal law and the court system has earned him a reputation amongst clients and colleagues for being a professional, trustworthy, knowledgeable and ardent lawyer and advocate for justice.

Mahir has a great appreciation for alternative dispute resolution and values the benefits of timely and cost-effective resolution of all legal issues. 

Wanting to build upon his passion for the law, Mahir took the initiative to set up QM Lawyers in Melbourne. In his spare time, he enjoys playing competitive indoor and outdoor cricket, travelling, and visiting local coffee shops.
